Aspirinesterase Activity in the Anemia

Abstract
|
|
|
The serum aspirinesterase activity was estimated in the group of hepatic (8 cases) and no hepatic (13 cases) anemia patients. The results ere as follows;
1) Mean value of aspirinesterase in anemia was lower than the normal (184±22) as 135±50 AU in hepatic anemic disease and 137±41 AU in nonhepatic anemic disease.
2) There was a trend of decreasing the aspirineterase activity as the hemoglobin in fall down not only in hepatic but also in nonhepatic anemic disease.
